We have Outlook 2000 on windows 2000. We wish to maintain emailid in distribution Group (e.g. CRMGroup) through the email ids stored in MS SQL server 2000 database on other server.

Is there a way to write a query / stored procedure etc. to update the distribution list of outlook?

Our application on SQL server has facility to opt in and out of the group. We wish to dynmically update the Outlook distribution group based on people opted in application.

Thanks in advance.

Exchange 2003 has query based distribution lists. Other than that, you'd need to have Access as a conduit between Exchange and SQL.

Thanks for the prompt response!

We have exchange 2000 and not 2003. I believe that it has properietory database. However, I don't think that it can be updated through a query.

Thanks!
