My co-worker and I would like to maintain our web site from two different computers that are not connnected to the same server. What is the easiest way to do this? Live updates might not be our best option because of overwriting each other's work. Any tips?

The easiest way is probably editing right online (File>Open Web>type in the web site address). This wouldn't overwrite existing files, but rather, it would allow you to make updates.

When you make changes on the server... recalculate hyperlinks and then and publish back to your hd.. so that you have a copy and your friend do the same.. your work will be done on the server but one of you will always have the latest back up... that is if the site is not large.. fp allows you to work with document check in and out.. look up source control in the fp help it will tell you all about it...
