Maintain page setup in subreport

I have a main report that is in Portrait orientation. I also have a subreport that should be in Landscape orientation. However, when I insert the subreport it takes on the orientation of the main report. Is there a way around this?

I think in CR 2008 you might be able to have different orientations in different sections, but in earlier versions you cannot, so you would probably need to make your main report landscape also in order to accommodate the sub.
