Maintain Internet connection in Outlook 2000 1

I use standard dial up to access the Internet, and if I just open Outlook 2000 and press Send/Receive, it dials up and downloads mail normally, but then it drops the connections again. I would prefer it to remain connected, but cannot find an option not to hang up after sending or recieving. Are there any other settingd I can change to prevent Outlook from dropping the connection after use?

Tools-Options, Mail delivery tab.

"Hang up..."


And in the same tab, if you've checked "send mail immediately when connected", you don't even have to hit Send/Receive.
