Main Report Record Selection Based on Subreport data

Hi All,

Can we write a record selection formula in the main report based on the data in the subreport?

For Eg:I have a main report that displays some details. Amount is displayed using a subreport in one of the columns.
Now can we have a record selection formula that gets the details say greater than or less than the amount in the subreport?

Any ideas?

Make the Sub-report the main report and the main report the sub-report.

Data from a subreport does not exist until after the report has printed the section that contains the subreport. That's how Cyrstal reports, part of the price for a very quick and convenient language.

So follow Reebo's suggestion.
