Main Package with Send mail on Failure.

Hello,

I was trying to create a DTS with a main package wich call another DTS.
If that package fails, i want to send an e-mail reporting the error.

The problem is when I execute the DTS and the package fails the send mail task is not run.

Can you help me solving this?

Have you tried selecting the DTS Package you have called and select the send mail task then choose Workflow - on failure !!

yes, the workflow is created

but even then, the send mail task don't work

Have you got the sendmail task working on its own but it just wont work in this package ?

Yes, that's right.

After trying all the option, I figure it out.
In the DTS I want to call in the main package,, I have to go to the package properties, and in the logging tab I have to select the option fail package on first error.
That way, when I try to execute the main package and it fails, the send mail task works.
