Here i have a situation were the customers don't need the main numbers to go to voice mail. This the situation this # 1-973-628-5618 pots line and goes to the system opt11c and then we have another #5619 this is a DID# so went sombody calls the main #5618 rings 4 times and goes to voice mail.I checked in the PBX and this ext doesn't have any programming for voice mail for instance FDN none,HUNT 0.AND CLASS SERVICE everything is denied,so i dont know how this is happening.Any advice please i run of ideas.

post the tnb for 5618.. then look at rdr data. check cls fba, that one can cause problems..

might try an entc to see whats controlling the marp on that number

Could be your IDC table (ld 49) is routing 1-973-628-5618 to a different extension other than 5618 :)

I would look at IDC tables 2-4 as 0 and 1 are usually used for toll free routing :D

Good luck if it isn't your phone build or IDC.

You could also check if the phone is forwarded to another phone that is setup for voicemail ... that is about all I can think of right now without more info.

1st thing i thought of was idc, but the op states that the call rings 5619 prior to going to mail..

don't you love it when users don't reply when we try to help
