I posted this on another forum, and figured I would see if anyone here could throw some advice my way.

Here's my dilemma. I have a main report containing two subreports; each represents entirely separate data sets. They need to be displayed on the same sheet. This is easy...but,

I need to be able to have all of them pull records from the same date range. Right now, I have a parameter query attached to the Main report, but that has no bearing on the subreports.

Is there a way to cause each to use the same range?

All help is appreciated. Thanks

Simply have a parameters mainform with a button to launch the report.
The 3 queries may reference the same textbox:
Between [Forms]![your parameters form]![txtStartDate] And [Forms]![your parameters form]![txtEndDate]

Hope This Helps, PH.

Hey PHV,

That sounds like a great idea, but it didn't work. I received the message:

"A problem occurred while "my database" was communicating with the OLE server or Active X control"

I have a form with two unbound controls (Begin and End Date); each formatted to use the "short date" style.

I use a button that opens the report attached to a parameter query using a parameter query:

>=[Forms]![frm Parameter Report].[Begin] And <=[Forms]![frm Parameter Report].[End]

I was thinking; since the dates entered in the form are not actually saved anywhere, how does query tie into them...am I missing something?

Thanks

PHV,

Nevermind. I just tied the form to a table rather than use unbound objects. It seems to work fine. thanks for the help. I truly appreciate it.
