Main menu not showing

Hi all,

I just reinstalled Corel 9 and this time the main dropdown menu just doesn't show. The whole menu is just gone ... I've got the other menus (with tools etc.) but not the main menu to export, save as, etc.

I tried reinstalling from another source (also Corel 9) with the same result.

Ideas anyone? I want my main menu back :(
