The main line is not set to forward to anything abnormal, and DND is not set. DND isn't even set in CMD 200. Just for S's and G's I programmed a button in CMD 9000 for DND, and while set and not set it's still busy. Calling the main extension (2779) goes to busy signal but calling virtual extension (3779) rings at the phone.

Is it a DIT or a DID? dit could be a line fault, are you dialling internally or externally? Is the station in make busy Cmd E50 should be 1 for in service. Is this a fault or a new install? Have you tried reseating the card? Is the led on on the card? When 3779 rings, can you answer it? Is it a qmaster linked system (may be worth unmonitoring then remonitoring the line)? If it is a Qmaster site has there been a number swap? delete the station in lines and let the Qmaster relearn it on next use, Heck try this even if there hasn't been a number swap, it won't do any harm, but at least check it is registered as a digital.

Well thats a few to be going on with.

Let us know how you get on and/or what the solution is!

Internally you get the busy/disconnected signal. Externally you get the number has been disconnected message. I've tried setting the extension up on another LEN on a different card but got the same results. CMD E50 does show 1 for that extension. It's not a new install. That extension has been around for a while now. The card is seated fine in the slot and the LED's are on. I'm not quite sure what a Qmaster is. The guy is also hell-bent against me setting him up with another extension because he has tons of business cards with 2779 on them.

I would try moving the number to another len but don't swap it, delete it then reinstall it.

Hmmm, Sounds like a dialplan issue.

What does Command 200 show for 2,27,277 and 2779. Is it an 804 or is it pointing to LCR?

grh,

200>2:727-
200>27:732-
200>277:736-
200>2779:A129-
- strange how everything else surrounding 2779 is 804 though.

it looks like 2779 was sent to another switch in a CCIS network at one time.

are you using CCIS? If Not then change 200>2779 to 804
