Hi,

just wondering if i can put any valid email address into a shell script and expect it to be emailed or is there somewhere else on my HP-UX server i need to enter this email address?

i.e how do i setup another email?

nope... direcly to mailx:

cat mail.txt | mailx -s "subject" valid@mail.com
