How does one add to the list of email programs that can be used in IE5.5? It comes with Outlook Express and Hotmail. I want to add another to the list. I know it's a registry hack, but don't know the details. Surely, someone has done this, no?

Try HKEY_Local_Machine \ Software \ Clients \ Mail

If you just want to change what program is used when you click on a MailTo link see faq605-2431 to give you a general idea how you can change this easier than producing a registry key for that particualr registry key.

You of course would need the correct command line for your particualr program. joegz
