mailto: link does not open new blank email

When I click on a "mailto:xxx" url Eudora opens but it does not open a new email with the "mailto:" address in place. I've tried with both Eudora 6.0 and 5.2 with same results. Any help would be appreciated.

I solved the problem by going to:
Windows Explorer
Tools
Folder Options
File Types tab
URL:MailTo Protocol
Advanced
highligh "open"
Edit
change DDE message from "%1" to [open{"%1"}]
