My default Email program in Internet Options is set to Eudora. However, any mailto leads to Outlook instead of Eudora.

What can be done about it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The way to get there varies depending on which OS you're using, but look in your file type associations list for URL:Mailto Protocol. Under the Advanced button, you will find a dialog that will allow you to Edit the program that is used with the Open function.

I created a new association pointing to eudora.exe, but that didn't do anything.

You don't need to create a new association, you need to edit the old one. What OS (and SP) are you using?

XP Pro SP 2 the latest - I couldn't find an association

XP SP2 should have an even easier way:

Start, Set Program Access and Defaults, use the chevron on the right to expand the Custom choices & set Eudora there.

That's the problem it's already set to the default Email Program.

What next?

Set it to Outlook Express, save it, then change it back. That will probably work and is the easist way.
