Mailto Functionality

Hi, is it possible to use the MailTo command so the email appears nicely formatted without strange characters such as %2 and + symbols in the receipients email. At present the items arrives in an attachment called postdata.att. The web server is IIS and the email is being received in Outlook 2000, if that's any help.

The solution cannot use any server code. The META tags have been set to text etc. although the problem still occurs.

Simple answer. No.

Get a server that u can run a cgi script from (even if it is hosted externally) or put up with an ugly unformatted email.

If you are using a form you can add encode=text/plain to it. However browsers are going away from using the mailto in forms so it would not be the best solution.
