Hello,

after hours of trying to solve the problem with the help of Google /
Groups / Boards I finally ask here. I hope someone can help me on
this!

I've got Sendmail 8.14.4 on Centos 6.0. It's the standard RPM coming
with Centos / RHEL.

If I send an E-Mail without attachment - it's sent immediately.
Arriving within seconds at the receiver.
If I send an E-Mail with attachment – it takes about 1 hour to arrive
at the receiver … (it gets queued – but I don’t know why)

I’ve got excerpt of logs when this happens:

Only way to get sendmail to send it is to manually flush the queue (/
usr/sbin/sendmail -q) or wait one hour …

Hope someone can enlighten me on this!

Thank you, bye from Austria
Andreas

What I forgot to mention: Spamassassin is installed on this Server - can this be the source of the 1h delay of emails with attachments?
