some number of users from AIX when send email must be identified in header as a given (the same) sender (due to relay host restrictions)

lets say:

user1
user2
user3

when all of this user sent email it is exepected their recipients see this mails are from specificaccount@specificdomain.net

the relayhost accepts realying only for a specific sender and from a specific IP (I did test with tn relayhost 25 and it works for this sender but not for the others)

how to implement this in sendmail?

or maybe you have another suggestions?

I'm not sure what you want. Can you go over it one more time and just tell us what you want it to do.

I already found and tested that I can send an email from an authorized server (only mails from a specific IP are accteptable on relay mail server)

lets say the allowed server IP is 10.10.10.10 and only it is allowed to send mails via ""Smart" relay host" lets say DS is set to 1.1.1.1 (btw. the only accteptable mails are these sent from/as a specific sender - sender@domain.net)

/usr/bin/mailx -s "test test test" -r sender@domain.net recipient@internet.net

So, it works fine.

But what if I would use 10.10.10.10 a "Smart relay host" on the other host lets say 10.11.11.11? The host with IP 10.11.11.11 is not allowed to use directly 1.1.1.1. When I tried to sent message from 10.11.11.11 with "smart relay host" set to 10.10.10.10 on 10.11.11.11, then on 10.10.10.10 I see in syslog that "Relaying denied" :

Jul 7 23:43:44 host-a mail:notice sendmail[403320]: k65GLiI645678: ruleset=check_rcpt, arg1=<sender@domain.net>, relay=host-b [10.11.11.11], reject=550 5.7.1 <sender@domain.net>... Relaying denied

So, is the a solution to above problem? Can I sent e-mail from 10.11.11.11 via 10.10.10.10 which is granted on relay host?

thxrm.
