Hey folks.

I have a question about the QUEUE folder.

We have an ...\Mailroot\vsi 1\Queue folder.

I wanted to know if this folder is for inbound mail or outbound mail.

The reason I am asking, is that NAV detected a virus in that folder. It seems to be coming from an e-mail message.

The problem is that I need to identify whether an employee is generating the message or whether its from an external source.

IF it is from an internal user, how can I determine who is sending it.

Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

You shouln't be scanning those folders with your desktop Antivirus. That directory is used for any new mail internal or external. Let your email based antivirus scan the mail. It should then tell you if it is internal or external.
