I used to have mailmerged documents which ran off queries in an access 97 database. They worked fine. My system has now been changed to access 2000 and the mailemerges which were set up under the old system still work fine. However, I have found that when I try to set up new mailmerges I am not always able to find the query I need on the database. I know the queries exist, but they are not on the list of available tables and queries in the mailmerge set up procedure. Has anyone had experience of this problem, and if so, how have they solved it?

Further to my earlier message, does anyone know how to find out what the path name for the data source on mailmerges in access 2000 is. If I could find that I might be able to work out why some merges work fine and others not at all when they are all meant to be operating from the same database, and in some cases are meant to be using the same queries.

I have had this problem recently in Access 2000. Our IT department is changing server setups, and physical drive mappings were changed. For mail merges that were not running properly I had to open the actual merge document in word, click the button called "Mail Merge Helper" and redefine the data source using new mappings (I believe it was in step 2 of the helper screen). Hope this helps. Alex
