Hi, I have a mailing list where users just enter an email address, anyway its getting a fair bit of abuse with users entering bad email addresses.

I was wondering how to create a sign up feature where my page sends the person an email to the address they supply (i know how to do this using CDONTS) and then, here's the bit i don't get, the email they're sent contains a link to a url, they click on the link and their then automatically added to the list

However if you defiantely want to have a validation e-mail as well as the email address validation go to

and download the complete source code for the site. From there you will be able to see how the user registration is done including the valdidation e-mail.
