Mailertable example

Hi all,
I want to configure the sendmail such that it should first read entries from mailertable instead of DNS.I tried various examples from net but they were not working properly.I have already put the required FEATURE in the .mc file & generated the new .cf file.Can anybody provide me proper example of mailertable file for specific domain and specific user???

I want my sendmail to be configured for both uucp and smtp.I am using HP-UX11.23 and sendmail v8.13.3

Did you make the map correctly? For example, if the 'FEATURE' you added looked like this:


FEATURE(`mailertable', `hash -o /etc/mail/mailertable.db')dnl

then the map must be called mailertable.db. You would create it with the following command:


makemap hash /etc/mail/mailertable.db < /etc/mail/mailertable

If this doesn't do the trick, you may have to provide a little more info on your configs and a sample of your entries.
