mailboxes

when i delete a mailbox from "recipients" it seems that the mailbox still exists under the "information store" and that it is growing all the time...some up to 80 mb already.
how can i get rid of these old mailboxes???

There are a number of setting that could cause this, there is a setting that will not delete until a good backup occurs. The DB will have empty space in it, then when you receive new messages they will go into the empty space within the db. If you really want to free up this space you can take the database offline and run some of the utils on it. Things like eseutil. You will wand a good backup before you start.
