Mailboxes password expiry

I don´t want the mailboxes password to expiry, I programmed in:
Messaging --> Security Administration: Maximum Days Permitted Between Changes: 0

Will this avoid mailboxes password expiry?

if i remember correctly, its not something that can be completely turned off, just delay for a yr...so setting it to 0 = 1 yr.

 

[lretrievers]

0 means passwords do not expire.
