Mailbox sizes

Hello all,

On Outlook, you can check the size of the Local Data and the Server Data by checking the properties of the Mailbox. I understand that the Local Data file size can be greater than the Server Data but can Server Data be greater than Local Data and for what reasons?

It might be a problem with synchronization and will first check to see if it might be a bad .ost file that may be causing it to not sync properly. Thanks.
