Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if there was a way to increase the size of a personal mailbox? I couldn't find any information on this in the documentation that I have for out Nortel phone system.

You need to change the class of service to from 1 to a greater amount, choices are(odd numbers english,even numbers french) 1,3,5,7, on a small VM system and 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15 on a larger system.
Log in to Feature 983 , Log= 120000 or 1020000 or 121234 or 1021234.
Press Mailbox, change and press next until you see Class:1 then change it to a greater amount.
Look for Class Of Service(COS) chart in your manual, page 4-3 in flash setup operation guide.

This is exactly what I am looking for as well. COuld you fax me or email me a copy of this 4-3 chart? Also, is this the same for Release 2.010 flash software?

0= indefinite retention, P = Primary Language,

If you have newer NAM software 4.0 and up class of service 13 gives you 120 minutes of mailbox message time total with 10 minutes per message and stores it for 90 days. If you do not have this version let me know what version and I can get you the total sheet.

If you have Norstar voicemail manager you can edit the class of service to service the specific needs of your user.

On the other hand you can edit the COS on a Call Pilot using the GUI interface.
