Mailbox showing 80% full withn lotus notes integration

I have a user that the mailbox is reporting 80% full this is utilising lotus notes , no messages are present in the mailbox and removing and reading the account has cured this two days ago , but the problem has returned any ideas on where to start , every view is showing the mailbox as empty except the server that is reporting the mailbox as nearly full.

What server is showing it to be full? The LN is where the messages are stored so it cant be anywhere else.

It may be that they are flagged to not remove deleted messages so they are in the deleted folder and that is using all of the space.
