Mailbox Problems

Hi there

I had some problems with my outlook as my pst was over 2GB

I managed to get back into Outlook and have since deleted loads of mails

However, when I look in Windows Explorer at my pst file it hasnt changed in size, I have deleted mails and watched the file but it has not changed

please help

Hi catalystcommercial ,

You probably need to 'compact' it in outlook follow these steps.

Tools>Options>Mail setup>Data Files>Choose the PST file that is still large>Settings>Compact Now

Depending on how large/uncompacted this file is this can take anywhere from 5 minutes to over an hour.
