I currently use OMM for one of my Octel 250's in Arizona... but I manage 4 others that I would like to add to my Arizona OMM system. My vendor does not off a way to upgrade my OMM to support all 5 sites - does anybody have a contact that might be able to assist?

You can try Unimax they may help but I am not sure if there will be a charge for it. You need to make sure that the feature bit is on in the other systems for this.

Then you must get the serial numbers of the other systems and your current config.2nl file and email it to unimax support and tell them that you need to add the other systems.

they will then send you a file back with the other systems added. It has been my experience that you must use a distributor to do this but give it a try. If they will not do it let me know and we can get it done for you.

Also why is it that your vender can't or will not do this ? this is pretty standard stuff.

I think our vendor is simply not interested in supporting this initiative because we are in talks with them to implement an entirely new messaging platform.

I won't mention any names, but our vendor's name rhymes with "moss".

I am pretty sure you will be charged for it, whether you get it through Unimax or an Avaya BusinessPartner. Like Ken Means said you need to have the software feature bit 17-Database Retrieval turned on for each remote system. If they are newer releases of software this is usually turned on.

Also, like Ken Means said, the Avaya Modular Messaging S3400 with either a Microsoft Exchange message store or Avaya's own MSS Linux message store is the newer messaging platform that replaces the Octel 250's. It has either the Aria telephone user interface or the Audix telephone user interface or both.
