I have my policy set up and working fine to move messages when they reach a certain age. HOWEVER, the problem is with any folders that the users have created in their inbox. No message they place in here is being deleted. I couldn't find anyhere to have it check the subfolders in the inbox. Anybody have any ideas?

Hi Jennyv,
This is because the emails in the sub-folders have not reached the age to be deleted yet. It could be that the users just moved or migrate these emails to the inbox. Although when you looked at the emails, you will see the sent or received dates as old but the MODIFIED date is the one that the policy also included. If you go to one of these folders and view the list of emails, right click on the title Subject, From, or Received field and you have the option to choose Field Chooser. Under Field Chooser menu, click the arrow down key and choose All Mail Field, scroll down and you will see Modified. Drag and drop that next to your Outlook screen and you will see the modified date is much newer.
