mailbox locked

Hi. I have a locked mailbox because someone tried wrong passwords.
I have tried three methods to reset password and it still remains locked.
I do not want to delete the mailbox and restablish it as there are messages on the that I need to listen to.
I have reset the password through feature 983, through feature *85 and also feature **266344. It still remains locked!!!

I need help! Thanks
 
From a two-line phone enter f983, pswd, mailbox, mailbox #, change, reset pswd.

If that appears to still not work, it probably means ur resetting the wrong mailbox. To avoid confusion when setting up mailboxes you want the mailbox to match the phone local.

Also if the user is trying to enter their mailbox from someone elses phone they should press F981 then ** so the screen shows log instead of pswd and then enter the mailbox and pswd combination.

 
i've done that and it still wont work. I was able to access my mailbox from another phone but it said I had no messages. But I do have messages! If that was never my mailbox to begin with (even though it has my name on it) I have no clue of what the mailbox number is!
 
Remember that after you reset the password the next time you go back in to open it you have to put in the default password of 4- 0000's and then change it

Oh, thank you...
I just figured it out... Since I have the mainphone, my mailbox number is the general one - 100... I was using my extension number 221 - the intire time... Now that I reset password on mailbox 100 I was able to do it and change the password and listen to the message.
