mailbox locked

How do I reset the system so that I will be able to enter a new password for my mailbox. Right now when I enter into the mailbox it says that it is locked. We are a small company and I guess that I am the admin. person but dont know what to do.
 
If you have admin rights, you can go to the call pilot manager and re-set your mailbox password to the default.

Sounds like if you are responsible fo rit, you may need to invest in to some training or have a contract with a vendor to make changes...
 
Are you on a Norstar system by chance? Does the phone display read "mailbox locked"?
 
I have Admin rights, I just cant figure out how to reset the mailbox. Yes I do have the Norstar system
 
The display says that their are "Mesages for you" so i pick up the handset and press 35. it will ask for my access code and i enter it. However, when I enter the access code that I usually enter it says that the mailbox has been locked. This happened after I changed the password.
 
Try a F983 to log into the admin mailbox. Depending on the size of the voicemail, the password will be 10200 or 10020000. Then reset the password for the locked mailbox.
 
Im trying the feature 985 and thats not working. I talked to the dealer today and he rec. buying the software.
 
Of course they are going to try and sell you something. Thing is, you seem to be having a problem, and new software doesn't necessarily mean fixing a problem.

Finally got in. used web Browser through the intranet. Worked great. Im back fixed and going. Thanks everyone for your help.
