Mailbox locked--tried resetting password, still need help!!! 1

We have a user who's voicemail box is locked. I went into the system to reset the password to the mailbox, but that did not do it.

I checked and verified the name of the mailbox by calling myself from that extension and leaving a message. What I'm thinking is, maybe this is not the name of the mailbox? (even tho it seems rather odd) -- is there any way to verify a mailbox name in conjunction with its extension? Thanks
 
I would delete th evoice mail box and reinstall. Do not forget the put in the greeting to make it active. Jeter@LasVegas.com

Ok, how do I tell what mailbox is assigned to what extension? I deleted the mailbox and went to re-initialize it, but when it asked me for the extension, it told me it was already assigned.....help, thanks!
 
go into and edit the voice mail boxes and you can see what ext is to what vms box. Jeter@LasVegas.com
