Mailbox listed twice in O2k3

Weird one. We have a user who has his mailbox listed twice in his left sidebar. We can open up each of them, they both behave normally.
exchange2k3, outlook2k3, not cache mode.
Its not setup under Open these additonal accounts.
I googled syptoms but couldt find anything.
Im befuddled.

I don't have OL2K3 here at work but from what I remember from my home installation the Inbox could show up in two locations - once in the regular folder list and once at the very top of the sidebar under something similar to "my favorite folders". The "favortie folders" (or whatever its called) section appears to be generated automatically based on what folders you open the most. I know I didn't have anything in it originally and now my Inbox and Sent Items show in that section.

I agree with 58sniper. This is almost always a corrupt profile.

Does that count for thinking in or outside the box?

You realize of course that we're referring to the Outlook profile, not the windows user account? (Just making sure).

go into control panel > mail > profiles > remove and recreate the profile > open outlook > problem solved.
