This may be a lame question, but I need to set up a mailbox for a user who isn't going to have a phone. How do I go about doing so, that when someone calls her extension(does she need an extension when there's no phone?) call goes right to audix?
When searching this forum, I found some references to a SOFT extension, is this what I need to do? If so, how do I go about it?

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

Sysadmin in charge of phones :)

You would give her an X-ported extension in the switch and give her a voice mail box as well. make sure the extension is "forward all calls" in the cover path. Wisdom is Knowledge
that is Shared

Thanks All Phoneman2

Using the X port should automatically forward calls to coverage since there is no hardware to ring.

But it wouldn't hurt to forward the calls either :)
