I have a mlm 007 card with one automated attendant. There's two issues I'm having.
One is that during night service when somebody calls in and hit an extension, it rings at the extension before going to voicemail. I would like it to go directly to voicemail if possible. I can do it manually with all of the phones by manually activating the "do no disturb" on the phone but I was wondering if there was a way I could automate that.
The second issue I have is the night service dial 0 action is set to "leave a message in the general mailbox". So a customer hits 0 and starts to listen to the general mailbox greeting, then they hit 0 again and it rings the operator station. Is there a way to change that dial 0 action?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You already found the solution for not ringing an extension and going to VM immediatly - have the users press DND when they leave for the day.

You can change the "personal operator" in mailbox 9991 to something else, if it is not set, it will go to the Call Answer Service Operator.

I would recommend that you renumber an Adjunct, and cover it to voice mail. Make it a mailbox with a Class of Service of 15, so that when it answers, it will answer with the Auto Attendant. Then make that extension the Personal Operator for the General Mailbox. When the caller presses 0 again, they go back to the Auto Attendant.
