Hello,
I have a big problem in configuration and creation of a Mail2Fax Gateway using hylafax and sendmail.
Just before I ask my question a short explanation. I have to migrate an existing Mail2Fax Gateway from an AIX system to a Linux system (CentOS 5.5).
On the Linux system I use sendmail version 8.13.8 and hylafax 6.0.5.
How it should work:
If the mail2fax service is used a mail from a mailsystem is sent also to the fax server in following format: FAX.phone#systelnbr#notifyflag#replyflag@mailgate.localhost (localhost for testing purposes).
If the system gets the mail it is send to the fax server using a perl script called faxgate and this script converts the mail to a postscript and sends the fax using faxsend.
I have tested to send facsimile using faxsend and this works fine - also with the perl script it seems to work.
I have only the sendmail.cf file from the AIX machine to edit - no *.mc file.
In sendmail.cf rewrite rules are defined which rewrite the mail and send it to the right user/program.
Below you will find the sendmail.cf and the faxgate script. Is it possible to use the cf file from AIX on Linux?
Are the rewrite rules correct and can I test these rules sending a local mail for example?

I hope someone can help me or can give me hints or other support forums to ask.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards
René
Are the rewrite rules correct and can I test these rules sending a local mail for example?
sendmail.cf:
