I am using PHP4 on a Linux & Apache environment.
I have sucessfully built an email client which works fine with this confirguration. However the templates do not work on with PHP3 on a Netscape 3.6 Enterprise webserver on UNIX
and this is where the files need to be moved to.

Could this be due to code/version differences or platform issues?
Please help

It's quite likely that this is due to code version differences. PHP3 and PHP4 are quite distanced from one another. Heck, I've got PHP4.04 code that won't run on a PHP4.01 server. :)

Best thing is to evaluate the changelogs between the version you created the program on and the version the server is running, look for functions that have been added and see if you can create PHP3 user defined functions that emulate them.

Or just start from scratch. Good practice, I suppose.

Good luck,
