I have a feeling this is possible and that it's been discussed before but here goes.

I want all mail send to x or to a mail group of which x is a member to automatically be copied to y's mail box. We have been doing simple forwarding using Outlook but since the intervention of some PDA type thing is seems to be playing up. I think it would be more effective if I can set this at the Exchange end.

Any advice much apreciated.

In Exchange Administrator open the mailbox properties of the user who first receives the email.

Click on the delivery tab, at the bottom you can add an alternate recipient. Enter the mailbox you wish a copy to be sent to and you are in business.

Thank you - I've been past that tab many times and never noticed it - still sorted now.

Thank you

Gareth

This allows for "Out of office" messages from "Y" to be sent out. Is there a way to prevent this or any automated reply being sent out from "Y"? Also, is there a way to send e-mails that were sent from "X" to this alternate behind the scenes as well?
