mail storage

quicky, where can i change where the mail is stored ? it's now stored in /var/mail/ i would like to store it in /usr/mail/

That would not be a good thing to do. The local mailer (procmail), POP3 mail server, IMAP and a few others expect the mail to be in /var/spool/mail/username. This location is hardcoded into senmail. You would have to edit the source and recompile it to make the change you want. You would also have to change where other programs look for mail.
