Mail step failing with MAPI error

I am executing a DTS package using .asp script. All steps execute properly except the step which sends email, which fails with a "could not initialize MAPI..." error. If I execute this package using EM, it works fine. It's probably something to do with which user is executing the package during the .asp execution of the package, but I cannot seem to find where the user can be specified.

Are you using asp or asp.net to kick off the dts script?

Just asp for a web browser.

There are 2 users then on your server:

IUSR_servername - Internet guest account
IWAM_servername - Launch IIS Process Account

Take a look at the permissions on your SQL database, and see if these 2 have permissions.

Also, make sure you have a valid mapi server in your email, if you are using a 3rd party package.

Those users do exist in Win2k, but should they also exist in EM (which they do not). Are these users I should create?
