Mail server is claiming to be a host other than what it is
(smtp greeting should be a 3 digit code..)..

what could be the problem, i got this warning when i put my companies domain name in DNS.Report.com how would you configure your smtp greeting.

Sounds like you need to set the FQDN for the SMTP virtual server.

Goto your SMTP Virtual Sever, click properties, Delivery, Advanced. Enter the name you want your server to use in teh "FQDN" field. This must match your rDNS entry or your mail may get rejected. (ie MX1.DOMAIN.COM)
