mail sent by cron

system is SCO 5.0.6 running sendmail.

i have a cron job that creates and sends automatic emails
the script generates and runs a command line call to mail like the following:
mail user@company.com -s Subject < textfile.txt

now this is all working great except that the email header shows that the mail is coming from "root" and i would like it to come from "servicemanager"

any ideas?
