Mail security and FE Exchange

I am running mail security 4.5 for exch2k3. I have a Front end and a Backend server.

The Front end is not scanning the incoming messages...all the incoming viruses are being caught by the backend server.....

Any ideas how to turn on VSAPI scanning on the frontend??

Under your policies do you have it set for scanning outbound SMTP or inbound SMTP on the Front End Servers.
