Mail Security 4.5 on Exch2003 FE & BE servers

Hi there,

I installed Mail Security 4.5 on both exch2003 frontend & backend server, & turn on heuristic spam detection.

According to the user guide, it should do antispam before antivirus, however I found from quarantine statics, 90% of the spams are trapped at BE instead of FE.

I expected the spams to be trapped at FE server, wondering what's wrong with my config?

Check your scan policy on your front end server to see how your are scanning your smtp.

Hi Glacierxx,

This is checked on my FE server:
1. filtering subpolicy is running on inbound smtp
2. virus subpolicy I couldn't config in/out-bound
