Hi

I have a linux server. How do I configure the server so that when I send e-mail to another domain name, it forwards the e-mail to the correct SMTP server.

eg.

Linux Server is in LinuxDomain.com
I want to send mail from user on linux machine to user@NewDomain.com. The mail server for NewDomain.com is mail.NewDomain.com

Where do I specify the ip address/details for mail.NewDomain.com

Thank You

P.S I am using Mandrake 8.1

You need to edit your dns records. Usually through the registrar where you registered your domain name. You need to add an "A" record for mail.yourdomain.com and point it to your ip. Then you need to add an "MX" record showing that mail.yourdomain.com handles the mail for yourdomain.com.
