Mail processing

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out a way to process incoming mail. What I need to do is check for attached files and if there are any, save them to a specific directory. Can this be done with VB? Could a VB program be run as a service on a NT machine and check for new mail every hour for example and process the mail for attachments and then send the mail to the correct mailbox?
