Mail not reaching to hotmail a/c

Hi,

I have setup my sendmail server on private IP and server is connected to internet.

If I sent mail from sendmail server to hotmail a/c it is not reaching to my hotmail a/c not even in my Junk mail box.

I checked the mailog file. it shows

Mar 21 14:53:53 <localhost> sendmail[4065]: l2L9Nni7004063: to=<<myaccount>@hotmail.com>, ctladdr=<root@localhost.localdomain> (0/0), delay=00:00:03, xdelay=00:00:03, mailer=esmtp, pri=121802, relay=mx3.hotmail.com. status is showing mail sent but it has not rearch to my a/c. Can you please help me to how to setup sendmail so we can able to send mail to hotmail ids.

Likely Hotmail only accepts mail from a fully qualified domain name.

i have the same problem. my sendmail comes with aix 5.3. i pretty much copied all parameters that are working with lower 4.x.

when i tried this command:

#> mail -s "TEST" lulu@yahoo.com > /etc/inittab

it just exited as normal and seemed to be sent, but when i checked at /root directory - i can see the email but NOT send out.

#> mail <enter>; shows current users mails

i checked my files under /etc, namely; hosts, sendmail.cf, resolv.conf and /etc/mail/relay-domains - exactly same as in the lower 4.x, that's working.
