Mail not going outside of the system

I just added a mail server inside our network and it has no problems sending mail inside the network but i can not get it to leave the network, i will mail something out and it will come back. Can you leave some directions on how to do it just so i can make sure i did it right, my domain is name is through yahoo so i can change records and that stuff if it is required.

run the internet mail setup wizard in Exchange System admin... that may fix your problem...
