It is possible to do so using Crystal via it's companion product called Enterpri$e, or by using 3rd party products, though the "mail merge" would be done in Crystal and then the resultant document exported to Word format.
Check out some 3rd party products:
And you could certainly do this within Access as well, complete with using Word through OLE to use it's mail merge function if that's what you want.
