I am trying to merge my query results into a existing word2000 document using the wizard, however once i have entered the source of the access query i get the message "unable to open data source" how can i over come this problem?

I always send the results of the query to a separate Word mailmerge file. Then, I can open the Word document and attach to the merge file with or without having Access open. You could also send the file to a user that doesn't have Access.
